Crafted from solid Douglas Fir and finished with natural wax, this wooden mantel showcases the grain, warmth and individual character of real timber.

The lighter finish is ideal if you love the warmth of natural wood but prefer a cleaner, lighter appearance than our darker rustic wax mantel.

Floating Mantel Fixing Kit Included

Your mantel comes complete with its fixing components for floating installation.

Your fixing pack includes:

• Steel anchor bolts
• Concrete injection adhesive
• Wall drilling template

Please ensure the installation method and supplied fixings are suitable for your particular wall construction and fireplace installation.

Solid Douglas Fir with Natural Wax

Each mantel is individually made from solid Douglas Fir, selected for its natural grain and character.

The natural wax finish enhances the grain and warm tones of the timber while retaining its lighter, natural appearance.

This makes it particularly suited to contemporary, Scandinavian-inspired, rustic and traditional interiors, and it works beautifully above fireplaces, stoves and chimney breasts.

Made to Order in Galway

Every Riverside Timber Craft mantel is made to order in Corr na Móna, County Galway.

Current production time: approximately 3–5 working days before dispatch.

Nationwide delivery throughout Ireland, with collection also available from our Galway workshop.

Natural Timber Characteristics

Real timber naturally varies in grain, colour and character. Your mantel may include knots, small cracks, splits and other natural timber features.

Timber can also respond naturally to changes in temperature and humidity over time.

These characteristics are part of the appearance of genuine timber and mean no two Riverside Timber Craft mantels will be exactly alike.

Care Instructions

Wipe your mantel with a soft, slightly damp cloth when required. Avoid harsh cleaning products and excessive moisture.

An occasional application of suitable furniture wax can be used to help maintain the natural finish.
